Angel's Kiss Cocktail


Angel's Kiss Cocktail
Ingredients
  • 30ml/1fl.oz Apricot Brandy
  • 2 teasp Cream
  • 1 Cocktail Cherry


Instructions

1. Pour the Apricot Brandy in a small glass so it's filled almost to the top.
2. Pour the cream onto the liqueur over the back of a spoon so it floats on top.
3. Spear the cherry onto a cocktail stick and use to decorate.

Irish Coffee


Irish Coffee
Ingredients

  • Very Hot Strong Black Coffee
  • 2 teasp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Irish Whiskey
  • 1 tbsp Double Cream, lightly whipped


Instructions


1. Heat a stemmed whiskey glass.
2. Heat the  whiskey and pour into the glass the glass. Top up  with very hot black coffee in which the sugar has been dissolved.  Even if you don't normally take sugar in your coffee, this is an intrinsic part of this recipe: don't leave it out.
3. Turn a teaspoon upside down and hold it against the rim inside the glass. Slide the cream slowly over the spoon to form a topping. Serve immediately.

Bourbon Cocktail


Bourbon Cocktail
Ingredients
  • 2-3 Ice Cubes
  • 30ml/1fl.oz. Bourbon Whisky
  • 2 teasp Benedictine
  • 2 teasp Cointreau
  • 2 teasp Lemon Juice
  • A dash Angostura Bitters


Instructions


1. Crack the ice (but don't crush it into too small pieces) and place in a shaker. Add the remaining ingredients and shake well.
2. Strain into a cocktail glass.

Note:- Don't be tempted to mix direct in the serving glass, as this drink shouldn't be served with the ice. There's nothing worse than having watered down cocktails !

Chicago Cocktail


Chicago Cocktail
Ingredients

  • 2 Ice Cubes
  • 30ml/1fl.oz. Brandy
  • 1 teasp Cointreau
  • A dash Angostura Bitters
  • Sparkling Wine

Instructions

1. Place the ice in a mixing glass together with the brandy, Cointreau and bitters. Stir well.
2. Strain into a shallow Champagne glass and top up with sparkling wine.

Note:- Don't be tempted to mix the cocktail directly in the serving glass, as this drink shouldn't be served with the ice. There's nothing worse than having watered down cocktails !

Long Island Iced Tea


Long Island Iced Tea
Ingredients
  • 30ml/1fl.oz Vodka
  • 30ml/1fl.oz Gin
  • 30ml/1fl.oz White Rum
  • 30ml/1fl.oz Tequila
  • 30ml/1fl.oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 teasp Caster Sugar
  • Cola
  • Ice Cubes


Instructions

1. In a shaker half filled with ice cubes, combine the vodka, gin, rum, tequila, lemon juice and sugar. Shake well.
2. Strain into a tumbler half filled with ice cubes. Serve with a straw.

Chocolate Cocktail

 
Chocolate Cocktail
Ingredients
  • 2-3 Ice Cubes
  • 60ml/2fl.oz. Port
  • 15ml/1/2fl.oz./1 tbsp cocoa cream
  • 15ml/1/2fl.oz./1 tbsp Yellow Chartreuse
  • 1 teasp  Bitter Chocolate, grated

Instructions

1. Crack the ice (but don't crush it into too small pieces) and place in a shaker together with the port, cocoa cream and chartreuse.
2. Shake very well and strain into a cocktail glass. Sprinkle the grated chocolate over the top.

Note:- Don't be tempted to mix the cocktail directly in the serving glass, as this drink shouldn't be served with the ice. There's nothing worse than having watered down cocktails !

Blue Lady Cocktail

Ingredients


  • 2-3 Ice Cubes
  • 30ml/1fl.oz. Gin
  • 15ml/1/2fl.oz./1 tbsp Blue Curacao
  • 15ml/1/2fl.oz./1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 Cocktail Cherry

2. Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass. Spear the cherry on a cocktail stick and use to decorate the glass.
